Warm Springs Correctional Center Facility

Clark/Sullivan and Van Woert Bigotti Architects, under a design-build contract, constructed this 70,000 square foot housing unit on the site of a fully operational men’s prison, and despite doubling the original scope of work, completed this project on schedule and on budget. Security precautions and unseasonable weather created difficult job site conditions. Thanks to our team’s prior experience in prison construction, the difficult job site conditions created by extremely tight security measures did not interfere with construction progress and timely project completion. Added work scope included a prison cafeteria, classrooms, administrative offices and a mirror image housing unit.
