C/S constructed the new Vaughn Middle School campus for Washoe County School District. This 191,000 SF replacement campus was built on the existing campus’s playfields, allowing the original school to remain fully operational throughout construction.

The new single-point-of-entry campus included:

• 3-Story Classroom Wing
• Science Labs
• Multi-Purpose Building with Stage
• Gymnasium and Locker Rooms
• Administration Wing
• Outdoor Physical Education Track
• Basketball Courts and Baseball Fields
• Outdoor Eating Spaces
• Public Outreach Spaces

The new campus was completed in Spring 2026, and faculty and staff relocated into the new facility. Following the move, the original campus was demolished and transformed into the new campus’s playfields. The entire project was completed in time for students to begin the 2026-2027 school year in the new campus
