Clark/Sullivan constructed this state-of-the-art water treatment facility for the Southern Nevada Water Authority through a design-bid-build delivery system. The building is constructed of concrete masonry units and a large variety of architectural elements such as metal panels, aluminum sun shades, screening and fins which add to the energy efficiency and enhance the design.nnThe laboratory itself contains a labyrinth of piping and drainage systems, with refrigeration and processing stations designed to monitor the water quality for distribution to the community. This complex laboratory is built into the side of a mountain requiring tie back systems and extensive poured in place concrete structures.nnThe River Mountain Water Treatment Lab is a perfect example of Clark/Sullivan’s ability to construct a complex building through a public bid system on-time and without change orders.n n
