Clark & Sullivan Constructors collaborated with Nevada Power, e-three and Custom Energy Solutions to design and build a unique district energy plant that meets the cooling energy needs of several downtown Las Vegas businesses. the first of its kind, the 28,000 square foot City Centre Chiller Plant distributes energy in the form of chilled water via underground piping. The technique eleminates the need for businesses to tinvest in, operate and maintain, expensive physical plant equipment. With a total cooling capacity at 5,000 tons, the plant, located in the parking lot at Fitzgeralds, serves Fitzgeralds Casino, Holiday Inn, Fremont Street Experience and Four Queens Hotel and Casino, and has the capacity to support three additional customers. |
