This 161,000 square foot Clark & Sullivan project was one of the company's first major efforts in the hospitality industry. The three-story wood frame hotel project consisted of 271 hotel rooms, meeting rooms to accommodate more than 300 people, six elevators, a restaurant/bar, swimming pool and an award winning interior courtyard. The grounds included expansive and lush landscaping throughout, especially around the swimming pool and interior areas. Completed months ahead of schedule, construction included the relocation of a massive Federal Aviation Administration telephone trunk line which was a vital and uninterruptible communication link for Reno-Tahoe Airport located across the street from the hotel project.
