Design-Build is a contractual arrangement in which Clark & Sullivan contracts directly with the design disciplines to provide both design and construction services to the owner. This arrangement allows the owner to have a single point of responsibility from planning through completion of the project. The single source responsibility by Clark & Sullivan provides an emphasis on teamwork and the client's goals at the forefront.
Implementing Clark & Sullivan's construction experience during the design phase produces a higher degree of constructability and cost control. This process gives the owner more control over project costs as price and early value engineering are exercised before any monetary commitments have been made. With contractor input during design, fewer changes will arise during construction. This delivery method also allows for fast tracking which allows the project to be delivered in a shorter time frame as construction can begin before the majority of the design is complete. Our team works day in and day out toward the final product. It is a commitment and an approach that works as much toward building strong relationships as it does toward building efficient structures.
